Default burning oil?

Ive got a b16 and I changed the oil like 2 months ago and i checked the dip stick last weekend and it was way low. I thought I just had a valve cover gasket leak because there is oil around my spark plugs but I don't think that would make me burn oil that fast (like 3 quarts). The motor feels strong and there is no knocking or bogging. the only problem is there is blue smoke in the upper RPM's. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

It's fairly typical for B series motors to burn off a little bit of oil. That being said, give it compression and leakdown tests to try and gauge exactly what the problem is and exactly how bad it is.
