Default burning coolant....i think?

My car was leaking coolant (or so i thought) and I replaced my radiator with a fluidyne, made all the proper attachments, drained the coolant, and added more. Now after driving around a bit, it seems that my car is no longer leaking coolant anywhere, but it is disappearing out of the reservoir and radiator. I did change the plug that goes on the water pump, but don't know what it's called, sorry for my sad display of ignorance. One thing I've also noticed is that my fan never comes on, ever. I know it works cause i tested it by touching the prongs of the relay switch together in the fuse box.

got any ideas where the coolant is going, Id love to hear them!?!?

also, there is a constant smell of coolant emitted from the car.....

sounds like you might have a blown headgasket. check your plugs to see if you can tell wether they have some coolant deposits on them or not.

if the tips of the plug are white, does that mean it's burning coolant?

No, that just telling you that your motor is running lean on topend... What makes you think you're burning coolant??? Check your coolant.... Is it milky like oil has gotten stirred into it??? If so then your headgasket is most likely out... If you want a better test leakdown your motor... This pumps air into the cylinder through the spark plug socket... Air coming through the intake indicates bent intake valves... Same for the exhaust... *Air bubbles coming from your coolant indicate a BAD HEADGASKET ... Air leaking through the breather on the valvecover tells ya rings are most likely goin... It's a valuable test... Good Luck!!!

Are you sure you bled all the air out? Had the heater on full-hot while you bled? You might be gradually releasing the air out into the reservoir, each time you cool down you draw a little more coolant in to make up for the air that came out.

Coolant leaking into a cylinder makes that one plug look real clean & shiny. Unusual for all 4 cylinders to have the same leak.

Also... headgaskets can leak in more than one place. I suppose it's possible for coolant & oil to leak into each other without leaking into a cylinder. How does your coolant & oil look?
