Default Building tranny...need some help

I am hooked on the idea of changing my B16b gears around. I am thinking infinitude 1st, and close3,4,5 with stock final drive...What would be the best way to make 5th more of an overdrive gear? Perhaps keep it stock? let me know what your thoughts are on haveing a fast accelerating car with 5th gear being a crusing gear. My car is daily driven...rarely on the freeway but in CA the cruising speed is like 80-90mph and if i can avoid being at like 5 or 6k rpms that would be killer.

Bense: if you stumble on this post I have read all of your posts on transmissions great information. I would really like your input on this one.

I heard the Ls 5th is crazy tall. Now would i be able to acheive what im trying to do by getting the close 1-3-4 and instead of the the close 5th use the ls 5th gear? in doing that can i skip the final drive?
