i would leave the compression alone, unless you run 95 oct

 

get the mahle 11.5:1 pistons, i loved mine. but they were also in a nitrous motor. made 181whp b16a, nothing to drastic

not really a secret to it.
had crower 63403 cams, idled fine when dialed in to the specs, 11.5:1 mahle's with eagle rods, aebs IM, modified DC header, 68mm STR TB and 310cc injectors. tuned on hondata, msd blah blah blah. zex wet kit 125 shot

high compression forged pistons? or low compression forged?

CTR pistons. I have some for sale.

Also a good head gasket is a good plus, Mugen two layer.

 

it was high compression forged. 11.5:1 and a 125 shot, pulled hard. on the street, spun both tires from a 3rd roll, and occasionally 4th. made 281/220 @ 9300rpm.
