Default Broke E-Brake Button

Instead of having an "outie" e-brake button I have 1 that sits flush with the lever. Any idea how to fix???? Been like that since I got the car a few months ago. Can anyone help???

It is jammed, pull the console so you can access the ratchet stop, [lever that rests against ratchet] to lock hand brake, see if you can get it moving, maybe some MoveIt or even WD40, to lube it up and then use a set of pliers to rock it back and forth on its pin. 94

It still works it's just flush with the handle... I kinda have to stick my finger in the hole to get it to release. And this is 1 hole I don't like sticking my finger in!!!! hahahahaha
