Roadracing on street tires? Or did you really mean HPDE? I use them for HPDEs and they're fine. Good feedback and progressive breakaway. I found they fall apart at the edges too easily during autocrossing, but my car also weighs close to 3,000 pounds.

don't know how they'd do for track events, but the RE730s are among the better street tires and are very worthy for autocross. Still not quite the performer the Azenis are, but they are still quite good.

barely any signs of wear from a 2 day event Speedtrial event at VIR. not the stickiest tire out there, but they are perfectly fine for driver schools

Ran about 30k on my Jetta w/them. Great tires. There's a Gen II out now that addresses the noise issue that was pretty bad as the tires got older. VERY progressive tire in the dry and rain. Not that great when the temps outside were below 50 degrees, but that's ok. It's a semi-high performance tire.

Liked them so much they are going on my Rabbit.

Decent tire, I used them for some light drag racing and daily driving; However, for weekend autocrossing where a true street tire is required, I recommend the Azenis, you can run them exclusively daily and I think they are wonderful in the rain and at the limit- a true all-situation high-performance street tire.

I have a set of 730s and they do very well. Supposedly the 2nd generation 730s are even better.
