ive heard you have to do acouple of "figure 8's" at a certain speed and stuff liek taht. if i bought a used LSD tranny...would i still have to do once installed? lets say ts an OEM LSD froma euro-r, wouldi have to do it? or does this only apply to those who have aftermarket LSD's. thanks

 

If you bought the whole tranny with LSD. Then no need to break it in. On the other hand, if its brand new...then yes have fun doing them 8's. heheh

 

yeah..but not just a couple figure 8's more like a couple miles of them and whenever you buy something used..you never have to break them in cause they've already been broken in for you..whether in the right way or wrong way.
