Default brakes with drag slicks

I'm just curious as to what if at all i can change to that will still clear 13in lensos or bogarts up front. Right now i'm running power stop rotors, but i didn't know if there is something better that will work. I was told that i have to use stock calipers and rotors to fit. Any help will be appreciated.

Are they just stock Civic brakes, as in you power slots are the same size as the original rotors?? If so your Lenso's or Bogart's will work fine...

yea, the power slots worked just fine underneath the bogarts. But on the street the brakes aren't the best. I'm just curious if i upgraded the rotors and caliper if the slicks will still work. I don't need to step up to a bigger rotor, but something that has more stopping power.

You can't really upgrade the brakes w/o upgrading the rotors.. They're too small and can't withstand much heat..

Well.. unfortunately the only upgrades that are really worth doing for the 10.3" brakes include stepping up to a larger diameter rotor, and anything larger than your stock brakes (such as type-r front brakes 11" rotor), will require you to ditch the 13" slicks. Yeah, it definetly sucks, but there's really nothing you can do...

The other option that alot of people do is swap spindles and install the smaller brakes for the track, then swap them back out after the race. Yeah, it's a little bit of work, but nothing's easy..

yea, oh well, looks like i'll just upgrade to better pads and hope that helps. It's not like can do much racing in the corners anyway, strictly a straight line car.
