I've got a set of slotted front rotors for an ABS civic EX. I want to put them on my non-abs civic SI ('93), but they are a little too big (the diameter is clightly too big to fit the caliper back on). Can I go to a junkyard and get the front calipers for an ABS civic EX? Or do I need to get the spindle? What do I need to do to get these rotors to work on my car?

What kind of calipers do you have? Akebono or Nissin? If you have the nissin calipers, you can just get the abs calipers, if you don't, you need the whole spindle.

 

So, if I have the nissin calipers, then I can just find some nissin ABS EX calipers.

If I have the akebono calipers, then I need just the EX ABS spindle, or both the EX ABS spindle and the akebono caliper?
