Brake question...

i'm not sure if this is the right forum but if it isn't, can a mod please move it?

i just changed the pads/rotors on my 95 integra ls. I just took it for a spin around the block and it sounds like the pads are rubbing against the rotors. I'm curious if this will change as the brakes break in, or is something wrong and i need double back and find out what could have gone wrong?

what kind of pads did you use? How did you install them, did you follow any specific 'how-to' online or did you use a helms?

did you pull off the calipers? did you push back the caliper piston?

Also - if they are Axxis pads for example, did you shave some metal off of the ears?
