Dumb mistake; while installing stainless steel braided lines (Neuspeed), I overtorqued the banjo bolt and squished the bejusus out of the two little copper washers that came with the line kit. As you can imagine, it began leaking immediately, I cursed myself profusely and proceeded to remove the damaged washers and replaced them with a pair intended for the rear caliper (same size, I just had not done the rears yet).

So, now I have only enough washers for one side in the rear. My question, can I just use new OEM Honda washers for this, or is there some reason I specifically need the copper ones?

 

I'm sure you already thought of this, but imo i'd try calling neuspeed, they'd probably be the ones that could give you the best answer for this.

 

Yeah, I figured at worst I could call them and order new washers from them, but running to my local H dealer is much simpler. I got pmed by bseries about it, and he used Honda washers with his ss lines, so I will be going that route as well. Thanks for the help.
