Default Brake Light and Brake Fluid Flush Question

Noticed that my "Brake" dashlight intermittently comes on now.. checked my brake fluids.. it's full, but the color is dark "syruppy" and resevoir has what looks like small amount of sometype of buildup (looks like pieces of tissue paper). Bought mine used at 32,000 miles, and probably never had the brake fluids flushed/replaced.
So far, brakes are working fine with new pads on all four, and other than the dashlight, nothing noticeably wrong with the brake system. Is this something that requires immediate attention, or can I wait another 2,000 - 3,000 miles til my next service (oil change) to take care of the brake fluids??? (I'm assuming the dashlight is related to deteriorated brake fluids).

Letting the fluid get that bad will cause your seals to go bad and fail.

Take car of it asap. You and a buddy can flush your brake system in an hour easily.

When/if you do it make sure you remove the MC reservoir and clean all of junk out of it so it does not get into the rest fo the system.

And your flaky warning light might just be caused by crud around the reservoir cap float switch??
