Default boosting a b16 with stock fuel pump

hey guys so i bought a turbo kit, from a local guy and it came with an inline pump which i sort of broke yes i am a dumbass i know but i was wondering if i order a walbro can i drive my car around on the factory pump before the walbro 255 arrives??? i am only planning on boosting 8lbs for the time being, any input would be appreciated.

Just by judgeing from the title of the thread it doens't sound safe.

Wait untill you get the fuel pump in.

ya if you can control yourself and not drive above 2500 rpm you MIGHT be safe assuming you don't spool be then. but i would not take the chance either. a lean condition could cost you big bucks and is def. not worth it!

The only irrational moron here seems to be you, grow some chest hair and try to talk to people without being offensive.
My answer fits the title of the thread accordingly, please read it again a couple of times; youll see.

Nowhere in this thread he said he's running an FMU which im assuming that's what your referring to; that would be the only way you could correlate fuel pump with ''tune''.
If not, please explain....

If that's the case, it would be wise for in the pumps and injectors sake to sell the fmu and with that money get your ecu chipped for boost.

It's not really ideal to run a boosted car with a stock fuel pump.

Period.</TD></TR></TABLE> what engine management is he runnin or is it a FMU? cause if it s a fmu he might beable to get away with 8 but not worth taking the chance in my opinion
