I'm trying to take the spark plug cover off, and 3 of the 4 bolts just keep turning and turning. Stripped? Crossthreaded? Anyone ever encounter this and what's the best way to deal with this. Driving the car to the car to a shop is not an option and I don't have any pnuematic tools. I'm trying to do a compression test BTW. Thanks.

 

probably stripped. break the nuts off, buy new studs from the dealership.
