Is your vtec crossover set to the stock place? What are all the mod you've done, the more descriptive you can be the better

vtec crossover is set stock (5200) on a zdyne one wire ecu. mods are skunk2 stage1 cams, skunk2 Im, hondata IM gasket, intake/header/high flow cat. Im pretty sure that all of that should be working as this all was taken out of my integra which i drove the day before the swap. another wierd thing is that if i disconnect the vtec solenoid it does fine not only before the crossover, but after as well. any help is appreciated, thanks

Have you ajusted the timing on the cams? If not your bogging bacause of that, you may need to raise your vtec crossover to something like 5500rpms-6000rpms

I have skunk2 stage 2s and I have my vtec cross over set @ 5800rpms

How about your fuel pump? Is it the stock on on the CRX?

its your fuel mapping with your stage two cams... you must have changed something? did you have zdyne in teg? cams in teg? something changed... i see this alot with bigger cams. you will need a fuel tuning device, vafc, feilds, etc... and some dyno time to tune it out and you will probably end up engaging vtec at somthing like 6000 to 6500... good luck tom

actually theyre only stage one cams, but the thing is that everything except the IM and IM gasket were exactly what was paired with my motor before and i was having no problems at all. its kind of frusterating

I am going to agree with everyone else, get aw VAFC and raise you vtec engagment to like 5500 or 5800, and try that.

is that really necessary with just stage 1 cams? I just am having trouble thinking that it is that as they cams were working great in the motor before i swapped it over into my crx
