Default bodykit installation on a 98 integra

I am new to this and was wondering how hard it is to install a body kit. Also, what brand would you recommend ? I would like a BLITZ style front end.....thanks.

well this is how you install them, find a shovel, dig a hole about 2 feet deep, then find some gasoline and/or lighter fluid, now pour the whole bottle and/or jug on the bodykit sitting in the hole, now light a match and get in really really close and light the gas/lighter fluid and it will install in no time at all

. Kamin and B16OnTop, thanks for your opinions but they really are not appropriate. You may not like body kits but many others do and can afford one. I hope others can offer constructive thoughts.

you know more and more riceboys try to use that "you cant afford one thats why you hate it" bullshit.

listen up stunner, my RB25 engine cost more than your entire body kit and paint job will cost you. so take your rice and go to clubsi

body kits are the plauge of the honda world. you say "alot of people do" like them, well alot of people are ******* retarded. making a car LOOK fast but be slow is the gayest possible thing to do to a car.

great comments- kamin-why don't you grow up or at least keep your childish comments to yourself ....i'm not some snotty nose kid - i have been building hotrods and race cars for soem 35 years and was looking for insight on these body kits...i am building a car for a handicapped kid and thought i was doing someone some good and needed some perspective from others ...what did i get ? someone who is a wise guy and offers nothing more than smart remarks...grow up and go out help someone - make someones day a better day ... i am sure that there are others who might want to make this forum a more intelligent place to be at.....

you need to understand some things about the honda world. im glad you have been building hot rods for a long time but there are 2 types of people in the honda world. people who like speed. people who like style.

the people who like speed swap engines, add turbos, make their cars fast.

the people who like style do body kits, ugly paint jobs, huge rims and other things just for looks.

the 2 sides usually hate each other. side A hates B because they make them look bad for modifying a honda and being associoated with those stupid exhausts and body kits, side B hates A because side A talks **** about their cars being ugly. or as they usually put it, by "hatin".

thats great your building it for a handicapped kid but how are we to know that? you should have said that first.

depending on the body kit it will depend on how well it fits. a top quality kit will fit NEAR stock with minimal shaving and gapping. a cheap kit will not fit well and look ugly. they are very very easy to install just remove stock bumper/skirts and add the new one then paint. many people will agree wings west makes some good quality kits, buddy club makes some lesser agressive kits that look clean. you get what you pay for, just remember that. if you buy a kit from the back of a ricer magazine dont expect it to fit like stock.

my apoligies

Kamin, thank you for your understanding...as you can see i am new to this site and did not understand all of this...now that we have gotten past all of this - and you seem to know what you are talking about - i do have a couple of questions if you don't mind answering them....
You mentioned Wings West as a good company are there any other companies that you are familiar with ?....the kid wants a Blitz style front end...and I have looked at many kits online and they range from $300 to over $1000 .... does the wings west kit fit true or am i going to have to do some glass work ? I have not done much glass work and that which i did do was years ago....What I would like to get is something that would fit without much or any modification.
Thanks for your understanding and I hope that I can come back to you for more answers....

im not a body kit expert so i cant verify the exact fitment of everything, but from what i know the WW stuff is pretty top notch. at the most you will have to get out some medium grit sandpaper and just shave it down to fit perfect, or file out the mounting holes to get it to look stock.

the most important thing is to take as much time as possibly while doing it, if you just remove the stock bumper then bolt the kit on odds are it isnt gonna fit like stock. lots of test fitting and fixing may be required.

thanks for the info I really appreciate the fact that you have taken your time to help ... unfortunately WW does not carry the blitz style but I did notice that they claim best fitment...I guess I will keep looking .... if you find anyone that knows what blitz front end has a good fitment..please let me know...thanks again for your time and thoughts...

i went through 3 blitz front ends on my eclipse a few years ago, i tried different brands every time and none of them fit well. you can get a cheap one, take it to a good bodyshop and have them install it and it will probably be cheaper than buying an expensive kit.
