Blue smoke usually means bruning oil. Does your engine consume any oil? How's the mileage on it? Have you done any recent mods prior to it starting to smoke?

yeah i knew that it was oil, i havent seen any dramatic changes in oil consumption just the usual from vtec, aslo i have a seeping oil pan gasket that im gunna replace but i dont see why that oil would be coming out of the exhuast. i forgot to mention this is a 2000 gsr. no major mods like the last thing i changed was the oil and plugs

Blue smoke is oil. When you notice it at start up, it typically means that you have oil leaking past your valves.

sounds like bad valve seals. oil is leaking past them into the cylinders when the engine is off. when you start it up it burns off that oil leading to the blue smoke.
