Default BlueTooth on Neptune

Im not sure how blue tooth works but is it like a wireless connection to your computer?? If so could somebody else with the program on a laptop with bluetooth complete destroy your car while you staging or just sitting anywhere.?

Just bought Neptune RTP and cant wait to put it on my fresh engine dont know bought the whole blue tooth thing though

yeah they can if you let them pair with your comp. you both have to put in matching codes.

The bluetooth is great. It is much easier to disble the injectors to help prevent theft. There is no need to get out the USB cable and connect it up. I could probably demo it for you sometime. I'm in 92026.

Yes...but kinda.
You would essentially have to allow someone to connect to you though. Your computer can be made to be "invisible" to other bluetooth devices. And the bluetooth on Neptune would have to be in a pairing mode to connect to another computer. Finally you can set a custom password for your device.

why does it make disabling injectors easier

Sounds pretty cool you still have to go buy the headset though right

its easy because you just ffire up your laptop and do it real fast instead of pulling out a cord, plugging into the ecu etc..
