Blox Intake Manifold and IACV - HELP!
Alrighty, just installed a Blox IM on my GSR the other day and since then, it's throwing two codes, 14 (IACV) and 23 (Knock). The Knock is showing because we broke the connector and it's unplugged. However, the IACV is plugged in correctly. Don't know why it's throwing a code. The car runs/idles fine. Behaves like it normally does. Just throws the codes.
I searched, but couldn't find anything about the actual IACVs and installing the Blox manifold, the GSR IACV should still work. Everything is hooked up but the Evap purge stuff, which I'll deal with in a few days when I've got time. But I don't understand why it throws code 14 (IACV).
Anyone else have this problem? The only thing I can really do is try a new IACV or check the continuity.

same problem rite now but im gonna take it to a shop soon, totally lost to as why its throwing the code. so bump for you.
Well good luck with it. I'll let you know if I manage to figure anything out.
I read elsewhere that the Skunk2 intake manifold had issues with the GSR IACV and could only run the LS/ITR/B16... but I also heard it was fine. So I figure the Blox may have the same issue since it's basically a Skunk2 duplicate.

took the words right outta my mouth...
The IACV & Purge solenoid valve, and IAB all have the same style round grey plug and can be easily crossed/mixed up. Check to see if you've accidently crossed these and are using the wrong plug going to the IACV...

Nope... the correct wires/plug is going to the IACV.
This afternoon, I swapped out the P72 ecu for a friends that was tuned for a 1.8L and had the Knock disabled... both the knock and IACV codes are gone now.

Yes. It was a P72, which was just chipped, and I am running it now again. It still isn't throwing a code for anything (I fixed the knock sensor so nothing is turned off on this ECU.)
I never pulled the ECU to reset it before. I just pulled the fuse. So I don't know if just unplugging the ECU would have done anything. I didn't know if there's a difference.
Oh well. It's gone now.
