Default Big Piston Problem.. Please Help!!

Ok, I pulled the head off this engine i bought about 3 months ago and this is what i found... The #1 piston is set about 1\8th of an inch lower than the other 3 pistons. When the #4 piston is at full extension up, the #1 is again 1\8th inch lower and never makes up that difference... Later im gunna pull the rod out and see if the bearings are screwed up but what else could this be? Please help!
Thanks,
-Nick-

Probably a motor that was hydrolocked and now has a bent rod.

i would change the rods you have in the engine since it may seem like you have a bent rod.......you dont want to mess around with those anymore......

you "can" use a set of stock LS rods as long as you dont plan on over reving the hell out of that engine.........or else find yourself a set of eagle rods.....they are relitivly cheap and very strong......get yourself a good set of forged pistions and you will be set!

stock head gasket will be fine.......

#1 is either bent or missing the bearing halves. BTW you would hear the LOUD OMG! is the bearings were missing.

well if its a bad rod, i say replace them all. dont take a chance with stockers that run around $75 a piece. buy brand new rods for 350+ that r aftermarket. this is insurance for ur motor and ur pocket book. dont b a cheapass.
