Bench Bleeding brake MC
How is it done? I believe it's been posted before, and tried a search, but didn't come up with a specific how-to. The only step I need before I go outside and change the MC. TIA.
This can get messy so get a clean rag...
If your strong enough, fill the resevoir and simply pump the piston placing your finger over each hole in between pumps...otherwise place the MC in a vise. Let the fluid squirt out for each exit hole where the brake lines would normally be attached to.
Quickly cover holes as best possible. I used clipped brake lines transeferred from a used GSR to do this or use your fingers to cover the holes.
Immediately install the MC to the booster and the brake lines. Prior to this, make sure you've covered all the areas in your engine bay from getting in contact with brake fliud.
Bleed the brakes.
Use a wet (water) rag to wipe any spills.
That's it.
