I'm putting togeather an ls vtec turbo motor, but using a gsr crank in an ls block with the addition to adapting the gsr block girdle on the bottom end as well. BUT when using the ls main caps, which main bearings do I use since I'm running a gsr crank?

Match the numbers/letters on the block and crank and decipher the Honda color.

all b series main bearings are the same, so it doesnt matter.

you just proved my point. i gave my answer (which is correct btw) and you refused to believe it.

theres no difference between a green gsr main bearing and a green ls main bearing. its the same part #.

 

This is the correct answer.

The block and crank have stamping on it which correspond to the honda color bearing. You could always just use Green all the way across like the ACL bearings do.

 

like i know any of this ****. im really missing the point with the "color" thing

 

get a helms manual.
