Default BDL B-series fuel rail installation help

Hi,

I've recently bought a BDL B-series fuel rail, and I was wondering what the threaded hole (seems like M14x1.25) on the bottom, in between injectors 2 en 3 is for.

There does not seem to be a plug included for it.

The hole is visible in this picture:

I got the rail from k20tuned.com and pointed them to this thread.

Thanks.

remote pressure gauge maybe?

I tried contacting BDL, but their contact page seems down.

I would really like to know about all the threads on the rail, to figure out what AN adaptors I need for my AN-6 plumbing.

I'm not that familiar with all those U.S. standards (i'm european).

You need an -8 o-ring to a -6 female.

It's for additionaly fuel supply, return, what have you.

The BDL rails are -8AN inlet/outlet. I believe that auxillary thread you're referrign to is -6AN.

Thanks a1320addict, I think I'll just include a -6AN plug in my order for the bottom port then, as I haven't heard back from k20tuned yet.

Or I could just plug the outlet port (one of the -8AN) and use the bottom -6AN as a return, to my external FPR.

But won't that disturb the flow/pressure?

Thanks for the offer Mike.

I did receive everything else on the package (o-rings for the injectors, banjo bolt and AN-10 plug for the outlet.). I'm just missing the AN-6 plug for the bottom auxiliary inlet/outlet port.

Since k20tuned hasn't got back to me about the problem, I guess i'll just include a AN-6plug when I oder my AN conversion stuff.

I was just thinking, Wouldn't it be better to make it a dual feed fuel rail?

So, use a Y-splitter on the fuel line and connect it to both ends of the rail.
Then use the bottom -6AN hole to run the return line (to fpr).
