hi i have a b16 and when i rev the engine to about 1500 rpm it starts to make this bass drum beat this only happens between 1500 and 2000 rpm my check engine light also turned on when this started.anyone know what could be causing this. i also have this one sensor that is not hooked up to anything it is mounted on the fuel rail i will post a video and pictures later if anyone needs them thanks

 

What code is it? What sensor is unplugged? You should go do a little reading in the Civic forum - specifically the CEL thread. Pdiggity did an awesome write-up. You'll find a lot of info just looking in all the FAQ sections that are stickied in most all of the forums.
