Default To balance or not to balance that is the question!!!!

i just built my first engine and i didnt get my crank balanced, now i was wondering will i be ok? the setup is as follows d16z6, cp 75.5 9:1 pistons, micro polised crank, acl bearings, eagle rods. has anyone built a motor without balancing the crank and had luck with it? i have an sc34 and plan on running around 16psi of boost (350ish hp). i really dont feel like taking the bottom end apart again.....

Honda cranks are very well balanced from the factory. I did not (nor have I ever) had a honda crank balanced. No problems (current setup makes over 500whp on 100% stock crank)

The only concern I have for your situation is, how much was done with the micropolish job? I.E., did the crank polishing job do enough to throw the crank off balance? Probably not...

it was just a very light cleanup pass, so i dont think it threw it off at all. i did a little reasearch and found i really dont need to balance it because my rods and pistons come pre balanced, and i think the factory can handle balancing a crank .

thanks for putting my mind at ease
