Default Bad wiring

Ok I been having allot of trouble with the wiring and blowing fuses. Anyways I just changed the fuse again. Radio and cig lighter wasn’t working and all lights dim. It works now but when I was changing them there was a wire that just plugged into an unused fuse slot. It was annoying and didn’t seem to be doing much so I removed it. Bad idea.

My car doesn’t start now. Check engine light comes on as it should and turns off after 2 sec. I hear the clicks that need to click and I hear the gas pump on or oil. Don’t remember what makes the flowing sound. But it doesn’t turn over. Everything makes it seem like it will but it doesn’t. So back to that wire. It’s not hot till I turn the key to start the engine. So I connected it back to where I thought it was and nothing. Same problem. I connect it to a hot wire and same thing. Need help. Im missing work because of this and I know it’s something small but I don’t know what it is. I have a pic of the wire.

check the starter fuse**... Check the single small wire on the starter... Check the fuses UNDER THE HOOD.
