Bad Tranny??????
when i come to a slow stop i hear a clunk sound coming from my front passenger side of my car. i thought it was a bad axle so i changed it and i thought that fixed the problem but it started doing it again today. so im think it might be my tranny. any input would be greatly appreciated

is it like a knocking, mine made like a knocking then it went away then it would sound like a bad bearing when decelerating. It turned out to be a bad mainshaft bearing. check everything and make sure all mounts are tight and listen for the noise outside the car when its parked.
yeah it only does it sometimes not all the time. i guess you can say its a knocking. is it hard to change the mainshaft bearing? what tranny do i get the bearing for if that the problem? i have a first gen jdm b16a
does it make the noise on when you go over some bumps in the road?....4th gens steering racks have a plastic bushing that always seem to wear out on the passenger side causinge a knocking noise sometimes.......
