ok. i have had my b18b swap in for about 2 months and its been nothing but problems, i have so far replaced the waterpump, new timing belt, thermostat and a couple of smaller things. see first of all i bought this motor from a freind and now it seems after doing my waterpump we found oil in the coolant the guy who does my waterpump pretty much nows his **** with motors and tells me that what my freind said about the cam seal leaking is bullshit. he looked at where it could be leaking and it seems to be coming from the headgasket. he also said if its the headgasket then the block could be warped in which that means if the motor is bad i just lost about 1000 bucks. we did a compression test on the motor and the numbers came up 190,170,170,170........ wtf nothing is making sense for me. what is the levels the compression should be on a 95 b18b motor and can someone here tell me what this could mean with everything i gave u on info and the compression test.
o yea there has also been a ticking noise that has been checked upon, valves adjusted and still seems to be there. **** nothing ever goes my way

Sorry but there could be a lot of things that could be going on. The ones ur talking about are the obvious... How many miles did that engine have before you got it? Was it run hard all the time? Nos? turbo, S/C?

 

the motor was taken from a junkyard and then sold to me my freind only took it to the track once ran a 15.0 in it and then the clutch went so my freind never drove it. i replaced the clutch n ran it about 20 times @ etown.
