I changed my '91 civic to OBD 1. All is good except the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STAYS ON while I jump the connector for the timing, and I installed the OBD 1 jumper connector and everything else.
The reason i need to correct this problem is because i need to see how it will effect my CA. emission testing . The Chilton manual says to replace the ECU. I was wondering has anyone fixed this problem with out changing the ECU, or is there any thing i can do to correct this problem , or even some advice for what to do?
