Back pressure From Exhaust
I seriously want the silencer off the exhaust and it pisses me off because I cant take it off. I pull and pull but it still stays in the same spot. I called the company and they told me it comes off but the thing is... there trying to be cheap and told me I have to buy a hook to take out the exhaust which cost like $20.00 but I'm cheap... lol. Anyone have any suggestions?? I can definitly tell the back pressure is screwing up performance because I can feel it.

you dont want backpreassure you want fast (as in velociy) moving exhaust gasses to act like a vaccuum by drawing more air out of the engine. too small and you loose top end. to large and you loose low end.

I'm not sure what you expect us to tell you.
We don't know what kind of muffler you're using, we don't know what kind of silencer you're using, we don't know how it attaches, we don't know what you've tried, we don't know what it looks like, we don't know what it feels like . . . . you get my point.

Its a cheap *** OBX Muffler. I got it really cheap to use temporarly untill I get enough money to get a better one. Its OBX B3 Slant Cut tip Stainless steal.
It looks like this
There is a nut thats in the middle on the bottom. They said you just screw it off and take a hook of some sort and pull on it. I tried taking pliers and pulling on it while it was hot. It moved alittle bit but it didnt come off. I was pulling on it and jerking the silencer but it didnt come off. So now does someone have a suggestion?

You need to cool the silencer and heat the exhaust to get differential thermal expansion working in your favor. Take a propane torce to the muffler tip to heat it while spraying some ice water on the silencer. Then give it a yank.
