I was wondering about the b20. I have a 2000 si with 325k on it, motors still going but i would like to drop somthing else in there with some power. There is a b20 down the road, with lsd stage 4 clutch racing wires and a lightwieght flywheel. buddy is willing to put it in for 2000. Is it a good deal or should i order a b18b or another b20 from toronto jdm. (about 1800 for a swap shipped)
Money is sort of a issue, looking to spend about $2500.
I no theres a expert out there that will tell me whats up, thanks.

So your saying get the b20? And do a crvteh ? Relisbility is a must as it is my daily driver . Will probably be going turbo later down the road . I heard the crvteh's were hard to maintain

 

If you do not plan on building the bottom end on the B20 you will not be happy with it. Coming from a high revving top end B16 to a low end B20 is like night and day. No point in doing a Ls/b20v if the bottom can't take the abuse to rev out high enough to make any power

 

My car has the balless d16 , with 325 kms at that , should I swap in another d series and turbo it ? I was thinking about a b series tho

 

I can get a t3/t4 kit off a supra for 400 , the turbo d is sounding better and better
