Default B20vtec vs LSvtec

Up until recently I havent been much into building B20/ls vtecs, so I dont know much about them. I was wondering what motor would give you better performance and more acceleration. I assume that the B20 would give more torque than the ls because of the increased bore, but I am not sure about which make more compression. So please someone direct me to a good write up or give some helpful answers. Thanks
