Default b20vtec clearance..rs machine pistons

i plan on running a b20vtec and i read a post that said if i run the rs machine type r replica for a b20..i can use any size cam without having any problems with valve to pistons contact..due to the pistons modified valve relief..b16 head by the way..can anyone give me any information about this..or point me in the right direction so i can get an answer...thanks

You should always clay the valve relieves, and meshure the clearences with vtec rocker locked....
whenever you assemble a engine with diffrent parts(other than stock)

Never assume that it will be okay. "Meashure"
Also remember to meashure valve to valve clearences.

the pro 1 are rated then just stage2! if you are willing have a machine shop mill the pockets back some

Probably not, allmost all piston mfg oversize the valvepockets on their pistons.
BUT you should def meashure clearances.

If you have oversized valves make shure your clearences(Valve to valve) is within specs with these cams.
