Default b20swap showing cel code 10

I have a b20 swap on my eg and recently the cel turned on. I jumpered the harness and its showing code 10 which is for intake air temperature sensor. Is the sensor located on the intake manifold near the fuel rail or is it located on the intake piping itself. I did a some searching and its showing that its both so im lost. Which is the sensor?

Do you have it plugged in and what are the wire colors on the connector going to it?

its going to be in the intake manifold. Check to make sure it gets its 5volt reference. Make sure it has a good ground. if it has both, then replace the sensor

I'm betting he has a connector swapped if there is one plugged up. The connector colors to that sensor are green/white stripe and red/yellow stripe.

Got it!! Its on the intake manifold near the FPR. I also just confirmed that the intake manifold its running is a p75 from the markings at the back. Pulled out the sensor and it looks burned. I will be trying to post a pic later to show how it looks. Thanks for the help. Ill be also doing some of those test mentioned.

replaced the sensor to a known working sensor but still the same thing. It still showing the code but I havent got the time to use a multimeter to check for voltage. I will give that a try next.

doesnt matter much with colors. Make sure one gives 5 volts reference. Make sure the other has ground
