Sorry if its been posted but I've searched and can't seem to find it. I see that there is a B20b and B20z. From what I can tell the B20z makes more hp is this correct? I want to swap my wifes tired LS motor in the 94 teg for a nice clean stock B20. Wheres the best place to find a low mileage motor and what kinda cost am I looking at?

I have the option of buying a fully worked LS head with Skunk2 valve train and Crower cams in it as well as a nice port and polish job, would this head bolt on and work better than the stock B20 head?

the LS head will bolt right up to the b20. I would recommend that you tune the car if you are using more aggressive cams

Care to elaborate a lil more man? I'm a noob to Hondas and have no idea what the P2V is?? Sounds like the code for the head?

you can find b20s for really cheap on the hondamarketplace and on ebay.

 

p2v = piston to valve.
should be ok using oem valves/head, jsut clay it if you run larger lift or duration cams, or increase the valve size

 

They'll be marked on the ends.

 

p2v- gotcha! I will clay it anyway just for assurance.

I'm not sure which crower cams are in the head, supposed to talk to the guy here soon and take a look at it.

 

They should be marked on the Distrbutor side.
