Default B20B VALVE TRAIN IN A B18A1

So I was wondering if anyone could help me with this one. And please really know what your telling me.

I came up on a B20B p8r head. The rare one. It has bigger valves and I think bigger camshafts also. I was planing on putting these heads on my b18a1 but was wondering if instead it would be a good idea if I just put the valves and valve train with camshafts into my b18a1 since I can't afford the skunk2 upgrades. Also. I plan on putting in type r pistons but will keep my stock ones if necessary.
Can anyone help?

the intake valves will not fit into the B18B head. they are larger like you said. but you can use the valve springs and retainers. the camshafts are pretty much the same so it's not worth even doing the whole swap over unless you use the whole head along with a set of aftermarket cams.

and you don't have to buy skunk2 parts. you can get other brands of good quality for much less.

Damn. Thanks. I didn't even thing about what you said til now.hahaha If you can inform me more, how will using the springs and retainers make a difference? Are they made a little better? what other good brands are more affordable. I was just going to use the b20 heads but I kept getting told there is no point. I'm not looking for thru the roof power. just a few numbers increase than stock,so with that said, anything you recommend I do?

not worth it for the work involved. May see 2-5hp increase, maybe even loose power. You be better off looking into a DOHC Vtec head swap.

Yeah, your right. But as a non VTEC guy, go with CROWERs. I am running their dual valve springs(68181) with Ti retainers and the 62403-2. I can honestly say that I feel pretty good about my set up. The CROWERs were easier to install then the stock ones. I have also yet to see a tool that we can use...
