Default B20b or b20z:which it better for a vtec build

im looking to build a b20 but im not sure which block would be better for the build. any info would be appreciated

depends on if you want to get aftermarket pistons.

If so, then there's no difference, go w/ the cheaper one

there are no other differences in the motor, what about rods and crank are they the same?

the only other thing that you could find different is that the B20B will sometimes have the rare p8r head on it, but that should not matter because you will be converting it to a VTEC head anyways
