Default B20A rebuild ?

I'm about to rebuild my B20A7 head . (identical to the B20A5 AFAIK)
My intentions are to give it a mild port & polish .
New springs & retainers .

Set-up so far has adj cam gears. CAI . DC manifold. (the DC gives no power gain on the UK B20a) Currently running @ 150bhp (same as stock figures)

My main question is about the cams.
I'm looking for some better cams for it. I'm staying N/A
Does anyone know the standard specs for the B20 cams ?
Are there any stcok Honda cams that I could use ?

I've done a search but most of it relates to B18's and the like.

Cheers.

Thanks . But without some more info that means very little to me.
I'm in the UK so designations may be different.

Aren't the B20z's VTEC ?

Also, where can I find the standard specs for cams ?

well here in the states, b20aX's came in 88-91 preludes and are the first known b20. b20b/z came in the new CRVs b20b making 126hp and b20z making 146hp. b20z had higher compression.

b20a are often not used in frankenstein build ups due to its poor r/s ratio.

Hey man finally another 3rd genner here. As for head work here in the states, crower makes cams for the car. Also Gude makes some real good cams. You can alos use b18a/b valve springs and retainers from crower in the b20a. Be careful though with the P&P it could do more damage then good. The b20a is not really a good n/a motor.

Cheers guys .

I now realise that the B20B/z is the non-vtec CRV .
Would these cams be of any benefit ?

I've seen the Crower and Gude sites . But as you say , it may cost more than it's worth with the shipping.

I'm aware that the B20A isn't the best engine to build but I've got some headwork/gasket to do on one of my 3G's so I'm taking the opportunity to do what I can at the same time.
This car is mostly aimed towards track use and isn't worth spending big amounts of cash on. It's for fun not competition .

I was hoping to find some standard Honda cams that would give me some gains .
I have no cams for my spare head so I need to get some anyway.
I still can't find any specs for the standard H cams though

Thanks.

just get a b20b/z.
Keep in mind that the B20A and B20B/Z are not intechangeable. Applications that use one cannot accept the other.
