Default b20 vtec

I have a quick 2 questions about B20 vtec that my search didnt quite answer....i believe i read on a site that you would need different pistons for crvtec because the stock pistons dont have deep enough dishes..is this a myth?? also why do you most of you guys run b16 heads...is this because they flow air better? why not a gsr head because i have easy access to one? im thinking about doing this in the future and i wanna go in it with a good base of knowledge thanks for the bandwidth

no, you dont need new pistons, maybe if you want huge cams. And the GSR head will work fine, its jsut the B16 head flows better.
