Default B20 reliability

just wat is it with the reliability issues concerning a b20 vtec setup? i've heard thats its a ticking time bomb waiting to leave u stranded. anybody have any problems running this setup? is it true its a not so reliable setup? wat the deallie fo sheezy?

There is nothing unreliable about them. The B20VTEC is a very questionable though being how the iternals in that motor were never made to go to 8000rpm. With a rod and piston upgrade they do ok. Just be sure to get a clean hone in there without taking too much off the sleeves. They have a low rod ratio, but the motors hold up if you if you taKe care of them.

Just be sure that whoever puts it together knows what they're doing.
