B18CspecR conversion into an EG civic hatch question?
Hi all,
Not many have done the above conversion here in Australia, i personally don't know if anyone has. I know of H22A's but that's more for drag. Anyones.... I have a few questions about the conversion cause you guys seem to do it on 3/5 civic's.
If i do this conversion....
1. Will i have to change my tacco's? if no... are the readings off?
2. Any modifications on my fuel lines?
3. Radiator? which one do i have to use? will the stock EG radiator do the job?
4. Anything else i need to know?
if anyone can answer these questions. Much appriciated.

1. by taco i assume u mean exh manifold. only japanese call that taco hehe
use the header/exh manifold that fits the motor. use the one that comes with it

I have a USDM B18C in my 93 hatch:
1. Used the headers that came with the engine.
2. No mods necessary but I went ahead and got a ITR fuel pump.
3. The EG radiator works fine but I will be getting a GSR rad soon.
4. As far as wiring, I have an OBDI P72 ECU that plugged right in, I just had to manually wire some missing wires in, eg: vtec solenoid, vtec oil press, evap purge solenoid, IAB's, and a couple others.

Hey, I think when he said tacco that he meant tachometer
And yeah, the redline will off and you'll bury the speedo pretty easy but it'll still work.
