Default b18c5 overheating

i have a 92 civic hb with jdm b18c itr motor. when i drive around town the temp on the cluster goes straight to H. i feel the radiator hoses and the upper one is hot as fu@&. and the lower hose is cold. while the car is idiling i turn the heater on and it puts out no heat at all. changed the thermostat and it made no difference. wonder if my water pump or radiator is bad??? anybody have any ideas.

thanks

u got air in ur system.... let the car idle while the the radiator cap is off, and full blast the heater and let all the water circulate until the termostate opens and the fan has come on...them u can refil if nessesary and close the cap
