hey , i have a b18c1 stock that has spun a bearing or thrown a rod

im looking to put in either stock usdm itr pistons( i have a set now that i got for cheap) or a set of ctr or jdm/usdm si pistons

i want more power i may be going with better then stock cams but not at this time

i will be rebuilding my block or just buying a diff b18c1 block and using what parts i can from my block and making an engine . .


so what should i do in a block rebuild?

i wanna run faster and use one of the pistons i said above( ctr,itr,si)

do i need bigger injectors for those pistons?

what rods should i use ?

should i get oversized pistons?

put some jdm itr pistons in it and some ITR cams and call it a day. the crank along with atleast one rods im sure is fucked so if u plan on rebuilding that block look for another crank

 

how much do you think that would cost to rebuild it, like a guestamit(just a guess)

and how much do you think it would cost for a used block and get that cleaned up with jdm itr cams and jdm itr pistons ??

pistons generally go for about 300 with rings and then a used gsr block is usually about 800 plus labor and everything else you could be looking well above 1000

 

i got usdm itr pistons without rings or rods for like 60 already
and im lookin at a used gsr block for about 600$
then i prob need a new crank and rods ( if the above block doesnt come with that )
