You can use the ls crank in a gsr block but you need to use the ls rods as well..

You can use an LS crank, and as stated above you'll need to use LS rods. The benefit is that the LS crank has a longer stroke and will give you a little more displacement compared to the GSR crank.

im doing a b18b crank in a gsr...there are several bennifits...first you gain a little stroke(displacement) second...depending on what rods you use it can change the compression ratio greatly...

ls crank with gsr rods will not clear if you have any milling done but if it is stock you will gain compression.
ls crank with ls rods is the more clearance, still lots of compression
ls crank with b16 rods not type r. low compression. usin g gsr pistons you are just under 8:1 with b16 pistons you are about 8.5:1

you might have to bend one of the oil squirters...but everything will clear

Wrong info!!! As everyone else here says, u can only use a ls crank with ls rods in a GSR block. I think u probably meant to say pistons instead of saying rods .

Remember that it's not all instant advantages of increased displacement. LS rods weren't designed for GS-R work duty. The R/S ratio also suffers compared to a native B18C crank/rods setup.
