you cant re-use stock honda headbolts- they are stretch-bolts and it will mess up your engine. get some ARP head studs (non-stretching) or new honda bolts. you will most likely break the used ones if you torque them to oem specs.

i've re-used stock headbolts b4, never had any problems, i understand they stretch, but once or twice should be ok for a pretty much stock engine. anyone else kno if the GSR bolts will work with a B16A block/GSR head or will i need to get some B16A bolts??

The deck height of the GSR block is 6mm taller than the B16a. I think ARP has two different part numbers.

I was under the impression that the stretch bolts were sort of re-usable, basically for a stock motor and maybe torquing it a few lbs over, but not too much, but that was just soemthign that i heard, is there anyone who can give a 3rd opinion.. just curious..

Ive reused my b16 bolts on my lsvtec with a couple of foot pounds added to the torque specs.

No problems, and no leaks.
