not much really the first thing you will notice is the valve cover is different. the redline in the b18b1 is higher than the b18a1. the b18b1 has a little more power also. they are both non-vtec since they are not the c1 and c5 engines. i think the bore and stroke on the b18a1 and b18b1 are the same not sure can look into that though.
