Default b18a1 on a EG WONT STAY ON

this is my first swap everything looks ok, but the car wont stay on only if i keep the gas pedal down and as soon i let go it shut off. any idea? any help would be appreciated.

also im using the old obd1 lx ecu. could that be the problem?

Double check that your TPS & MAP sensor plugs aren't switched, and your IAT, IAC, & PCS (Purge valve) plugs aren't mixed up. It happens. Have you tried adjusting the idle? Set base ignition timing? Adjusted distributor timing? Checked for vacuum leaks?

thanks for the reply. I'll check the plugs when I get home today. I can't adjust the idle on the TB do to is an aftermaket one and it doesn't have the adjustment screw on it.
