b18a and b18c block: physical differences

b18a and b18c block: physical differences
I'm looking into building a high revving big bore b18. Couldn't find any resources about the differences between the LS and the GSR blocks. Is there a structual difference between the two? Thicker casting? Stronger bracing? Reciprocating ***'ly does not matter at the moment
