Default B18 or B16 distributor???

We just dropped in a 94 USDM GSR in my boys 90 civic si hatch. One person says run a 1st gen B16 dist and the other says GSR dist. we have heard different stories from everyone. what is the right one for the motor? peace

The question is more what ecu are you running?

That should answer your question.

OBD0-B16 1 gen.
OBD1-The GSR one.

what ecu are u guys running?? if its a pw0 or pr3 use the first gen b16. if u guys changed the wiring harness and are using obd-1 then u can use any b-series dist.

Good answer guys.

PR3 requires the B16 distributor. (16 tooth crank sensor)

P72 requires the GSR distributor. (24 tooth crank sensor).
