b16a2 compression test
okay i did a compression test on my car today and i got(starting from the dizzy) 150, 160, 150,160 is this the right compression. if not what are the correct compression?
well the good thing is the cylinders are only within 10 psi of each other, but the overall numbers are low. not sure of the average for a b16 off the top of my head, but my old b18a had 150's across.
did you do the test with the engine warmed up and the throttle wide open?

well you didnt have the TB open when you did it so the numbers are going to show low i am pretty sure...i am pretty sure i did the same on my car when i did a compression check.... good luck man
the first time i ever did a comp. test i did the same thing and left the the throttle plate closed, i just don't remember how much lower it read than when i did it right.
